About Us

Concept & Birth
  • On a lost Summer afternoon, when usually a Goan takes the siesta an idea was afloat with the fragrance of freshly brewed Urrak, an idea of love that is for yourself – the only piece of accessory that was weighed to do this job was a earcuff
  • Earcuffs are not a usual Indian accessory but it adds so much to that look, and an accessory that is often only for you, we started with this thought and have expanded quite a bit…
  • From the packaging that denotes ‘a love letter from me to me’ to the nomenclature, everything in mog is all about mog meaning the love for yourself and the warmth and the tide that it involves
  • The name was picked up while bar hopping in one of Panjim’s oldest Tavern called The Joseph’s Bar, a kokum drink called Mog Assuni, which means love that stays or Let there be love, and everything did fall in place thereafter…
  • We figured that Brass (alloy of Cu and Zn) has that right hue of gold that matches with our Indian brown skin and accentuates with every style, even more being malleable enough to experiment and not too expensive in capital
  • Brass is generally resistant to tarnishing and corrosion, especially when treated with protective coatings. However, over time, exposure to moisture and air can cause brass to develop a patina, which some jewelers and wearers find appealing for its vintage look. To maintain its original shine, brass jewelry may require regular polishing and occasional coating with clear lacquer to prevent oxidation.
  • The polishing can be done with home remedies like lemon to get off the oxidation layer, while we suggest a liquid called ‘Brasso’ which is available online or at any hard-ware store.
  • The vision for Mogassuni goes as far as one should go for loving themselves, so the end point is something we are still configuring but is nowhere defined and neither is restricted
  • We intend to grow a community of hoomans that love to experiment but also love it mundane, merely someone who is absolutely not wanting to be defined by any norms of styling
  • Fashion can never be a part of minimalism in our POV and thereby while the start was just with earcuffs but intends to be in all realms of imagination as long as the mog fits in it.
  • When you own a piece of mog (that’s our nickname) you become a part of the mog family, this family is all about making each other grow with boundaries defined and self-love levels achieved with kindness
  • The intend was always to create a ripple of warmth and style in this ocean of designs but the stories from our fam gets us overwhelmed all the time
  • From being inspired, motivated to being empowered, so much could be achieved by one piece of brass design was something even we weren’t aware of and hearing the beautiful testimonials it only has been giving us more hope, more courage and stronger wings.(https://mogassuni.com/testimonials/)
  • We are working on creating mog clubs to empower the me-power, this isn’t just restricted for women but for all sexes
  • The conscious trail of being able to re-use the packaging remains as one underlying element of serving bigger purposes of waste management in future
  • There’s so much more we wish to be a part of in creating a positive impact but we wish to achieve it before stating and if any such cause or concept is brewing in your minds do write to us! we are all ears.
  • At Mogassuni we believe reliability comes before your skillset and transparency flows in every direction
  • We are a small group of curious creative mogis, the reporting is fluid just like our life and we like to learn and grow together
  • We believe in being flexible and spread across so that while we learn and unlearn about the business we also learn a lot about different routines, cultures and love languages
  • The jobs are done with complete control and we do not like micromanaging but there is a sense of ownership in every mogi
  • We value self care breaks and appreciate honest feedback
  • Lastly we are inclusive and mostly Susegad, so we do not understand unnecessary hurries
